So after a ton of laziness, I re-cabled my exceedingly poorly cable-managed case, and I upgraded my HSF from the stock Evo fan to a Noctua A15, and upgraded my rear exhaust from the stock fan to an AF-140 Quiet edition.

Before doing the upgrade, I went to town on the case with a can of compressed air, and did some benches, then benched afterwards. Here's a quick overview:

20 mins of IBT loading up 6 threads Very Heavy
Kombustor loading up the GPU.
Multiplier to 44.
Known very stable OC settings for them, I'll record the Vcores under load below.

Before, Ambient - 22C
.961V at idle -> 1.26V max at load
CPU Temps peaked at 99C on two cores, 92 on two others.
Average temps 85-90C on
GPU peaked and stabilized at 77C
Qualitatively, GPU fans were audible but barely so over the wailing and gnashing of teeth of the stock Evo fan.

After, Ambient - 25C
.961V at idle -> 1.26V max at load
CPU Temps peaked at 96 on two cores, 90 on two others.
Average temps 85-88C.
GPU peaked and stabilized at 77C
Qualitatively, GPU fans were audible. NF-A15 was inaudible over GPU fans and other ambient noise. Whoa and double whoa. I'm impressed.

Summary:
Based on the change in ambient, the combination of the improved cabling, NF-A15, and new exhaust fan seem to give us only a handful of improved C, but the improved noise is really quite noticeable. I'm planning on replacing the front fans with Silverstone APs to improve airflow to the GPU in a month or so. I'll report back then.

I also used the opportunity to pop in my new mechanical keyboard, a g710+ which I adore and would highly recommend .
