So I received my Panaflo L1A 80mm just now in the mail.....
There's a 3-pin end going to the fan itself, and on the other side is a 2-pin connector (there are only 2 wires in this fan).

Any tips on what to do?

Thanks,

Maybe it's set up to hook into a mobo fan header... but separate wires to allow for easy adjustment of 12V or 7.5V operation?

Mobo header is 3 pin as well.
Anyhow, I fixed the problem. For those of you who have this problem, here's the solution:

The controller that goes to the fan is a 3-pin, but the controller that goes out is a 2-pin.
The shape of the 2-pin plug looks like this:

UU
EDIT: Hit the QUOTE button to see the proper formatting
Where the "U" represents a female connector.

3 Pin male connectors (on the motherboard) look like this:

III
EDIT: Hit the QUOTE button to see the proper formatting

Where the "I" represents a male connector.
All you have to do is take the 2-pin female connector (from the fan) and "eat" off one side:

|
UU

Now when you plug it in, leave the right-most pin empty.

For those of you who can't see the ASCII art properly, just hit the "Quote" button, and it'll give you the proper spacing.
