this site is neweggflash a sub site of newegg. I have never used them, but newegg set up the site.

these have a 1 year warranty. I am busy and have not really looked hard at this someone please do so.

Also feel free to say the deals are not good. I am a bit out of the loop on tech this old.

Still working gear with a 1 year warranty deals seem good.

My game computer is still a c2q, its still a workable chip generation even for high end gaming, although you generally need a fast enough speed. Question is can you fit a gaming grade gpu in it, some of these are low profile cases.

That said, these are business refurbs. To me that tells me returns from companies that were still under warranty. We have these low profile version at my business and lemmie tell you, they are running 24 hours a day 7 days a week and abused by all sorts of non computer users. With the amount of burn in one of these could have on the components, I prolly wouldn't chance it.

I have 3 computers of the core2 generation, one being a laptop. It was a great generation but its also a dead end one. New processors haven't been made in like 4 years, and the memory won't carry over when you upgrade because the next step is ddr3. That said, building your own system under $150 would be pretty easy, esp if you already have a case. You will need to go through ebay, but sticking to electronic resellers with high ratings and you should be fine. You can find new asus 775 motherboards for under $50 and 2.5ghz c2d cpus used (working pulls, this is what everything will be) starting at $18 shipped.

I soon hope to jump to an fx6350 setup, but until then its nice that replacement parts can be had pretty cheap, even if used.
