I have trying to build my own computer, but I have run into problems that I don't know how to solve. I am hoping you guys can please help me.
I am building in Antec Flux Pro case, using an AsRock 870E Nova motherboard.
In order to connect the power cable for the fan hub that comes attached to the case, I have to route the PWM cable diagonally, from the Northwest corner of my case, to the Southeast corner of my case.
My first problem is:
1. When I do that, a lot of tension is present in the cable, because over all of this necessary distance (and I used the shortest route that I possibly could) it's barely long to reach the fan header on my motherboard. But my motherboard does not have any other chassis fan headers that are closer.
I feel like this cable is going to become wrecked over time due to the tension caused by it being too short properly to reach the place where it needs to connect, and I would like to avoid that from happening.
How can I solve this problem?
My second problem is:
The PWM cable for the fan hub that is attached to the case comes in one cable that splits off into two different connectors: one end is the PWM connector for the 5 fans controlled by the fan hub, and the other end is a 3 pin ARGB connector.
However, the ARGB headers on my motherboard are in the opposite location of where the ARGB connector ends up being, when I connect the fan hub power as described in problem number one above, and I therefore have no possible way to plug in the ARGB connector.
How do I solve this problem also?
Thank you.
