Really? Didn't know that. This PSU actually came with the case and since it was Antec brand, I didn't mind using it.
I have an enermax 465W with 36A on a single 12V rail. Would this be better to use?

always run with a beefier PS if you have it ;)

and very nice

my e4300 tops out at ~307FSB in that ASrock MB ... 2.763 Ghz; 1:1, Cas 4
--... i guess that is "fair" from 1.8Ghz stock :p

Yes ... it is "faster"
but not 'worlds faster' than my oc'd P4 EE

i know i can tweak it further ... not too much with this MB ... but it will not improve "much" over where it is

i am getting 10132 in 3DMark05 9300 with my EE

and 5172 in 3DMark06 - 4300 with my EE

OK, i guess for $35 net upgrade
[IF i can get my money for my P4/PC3500 :Q]

So yesterday, while playing STALKER, I started to smell smoke and lo and behold, it wasn't the PSU!!!! J/K!!! Everything is running just fine!! Psych!

OK, for real, I tried NTune version 5.05.38.00. This is the coolest thing I have seen "software wise" in a long while. If you have an Nforce mobo (Like my i650 SLI, etc. etc.) This can be used for
all your overclocking needs. I haven't actually done anything with it yet, just marveling at all the options. Color me impressed with software as well as the hardware!!

Cool times, cooooool times.

Thats a pretty close replica of what I'm going to build (I went with the Gigabyte mobo). I was going to get the 320MB version of the EVGA card, so far at the resolution I'll be running it at (1680x1050) the ram doesn't seem to make much difference. Is there something i'm missing?

If you ever upgrade to a 1920x1200 monitor or 1920x1080 TV, you'll probably wish you had the 640mb.

Hey, keysplayr...is this the RAM you got?

I know the P5N-E SLI is picky about RAM so if it's its working so well for you out of the box, I might get it as well.

Plus it also costs less than $100 for 2GBs ;)

Ok, at some requests, I ran 3DMark 06. 1280x1024 all standard "out of the box settings".

I will O/C them separately and give scores, then both together. Should be interesting.

Agreed on the 10,500 Swethan

I get 10,500 on a 6600 @ 3.2, 2GB @ DDR2-800 4-4-4-15, 8800GTS 640MB @ 610/1900 with 158.19's (haven't bothered re-running on 158.22's yet). I think at stock (2.4GHz CPU, 510/1600) I was around 9000. Pretty nice jump 'for free'.
