Though bass, "shredding", can be impressive to watch, and listen to, it's not how I roll. In so many songs, the bass line can be prominent, and indeed carry the song, without being overbearing. This song is an example, however, it seems to me the bass player was just a tad too content to just ride it out, when there was sooo much room to add a few extra notes to spice things up, without being a stage hog. I'm sure you would agree. Get jiggy with it!
