Nice! I really dig your stuff, keep it up!

Thanks man. Appreciate it. :)

Still feel bad that that ATOT Jam thing never really worked out, at least on my end of things. My schedule was and still is just too busy to commit time for it/record the bass line in a timely fashion.

Still playing?

I'm getting back into it, after a brief layoff :)

heheh nice! I'm listening to your version of Californication right now. Very cool! It was one of the first songs I learned on the guitar.

Yo Marty, I am posting once again in your threadz. A blast from the past, but something you might have fun with. There are some songs/music, that IMHO the bass carries it all the way, this is one,----

Definitely some good stuff there. Would love to do covers of some old school funk (like The Meters, Parliament Funkadelic, Zapp & Roger, etc.) but its so tough to do the guitar lines on bass. Maybe with the keyboard it could be easier? Haven't messed with it too much. Of course 'Tom Sawyer' is a classic. Might try that one eventually, just doubt I'd bring it the justice it deserves.

Though bass, "shredding", can be impressive to watch, and listen to, it's not how I roll. In so many songs, the bass line can be prominent, and indeed carry the song, without being overbearing. This song is an example, however, it seems to me the bass player was just a tad too content to just ride it out, when there was sooo much room to add a few extra notes to spice things up, without being a stage hog. I'm sure you would agree. Get jiggy with it!

Always thought he could do more with that line. Like you said, throw a few notes in there. Classic song though.

Pink - Who Knew - New Track!

My cousin's gf sings and wanted to sing along to an instrumental. Unfortunately she is also a bit technologically impaired and hasn't figured out ho to record on a computer, and they live a decent ways away so I can't just go over and give them help. I've had this sitting around for a while with no vocal track, so I just added a vocal track last night to finish it off. Still hoping to have actual vocals on there instead.
