Do tell when did our Delta Force got its ass kicked? The failed rescue of Iranian hostages were due to an air collision of two of our helicopters. During the Somalia, two Delta Force dudes were killed after their ammo ran out. These two guys volunteered to go down and assist a downed Black Hawk chopper. In the end, both received the Medal of Honor.

OMFG! Are you serious Sinmen? Please tell me your not. Please tell me your talking out of your ass. If you are referring to our debacle out in the desert of Iran in the early 80s, you truely have no idea wtf your talking about. The reason for our problem then, was the same reason that we had right up until September 11th 2001. Our politicians couldnt make up their minds whether to use these forces in their entirety, and unleash their true destructive potential upon the enemies that needed to see that strength. They were too worried about what the american public would think of them for doing just that thing. Now with the massive public support for those actions in place...its time to do the job we should have done so long ago.

Don't get mad or upset. I have as much respect to our soldiers as anyone else. May be I should not use ass kicked. But I certainly don't want any more of them died because we need to do ground combat.

Our days of accomplishing anything by trying to bomb bad guys into the stone age may be coming to an end. We are going to have to start turning to stuff like this more and more. Take the leaders out without causing a lot of collateral damage.

Some of them will get caught, killed, and paraded through the streets, just like in Somalia.

They understand that, and I guess the rest of us need to as well.

Sinmen did you even read the article? These soldiers want to go in and if neccessary die for their country. They are ready for this. This is what they have trained to do. They don't want to be held back by some pansy a$$ politicians who care more about being re-elected than getting the job done. These men have honor, they have courage, and dammit they are AMERICANS who are willing to die to protect the country they love so much!
