We had picked Jayden for our first but a cousin, who had a kid two months earlier, named her kid Jaiden.

I had picked Jaden if our first would have been a boy and my wife's cousin decided they were going to name their son Jaden. Our first turned out to be a girl and a year later they have a son and were going to name him Jaden and I told my wife their son's name has no bearing on what we name ours if our next is a son. They chose another name for some reason.

Jayden sounds too pornstary. Damian is sort of demonic don't you think?

Girl - Tokyo
Boy - Paris

Most people should not be allowed to name things, especially pets and other people.

In all seriousness, this would actually be a really cool name for a boy. And maybe Rhiannon for a girl.

As long as you let her stand under your umbrella ella ella eh eh eh eh...

Including you apparently.

I know the truth hurts, but you don't have to project your issues on me.

So I guess any parent who names their kid Taylor, Britney, Keisha, Jessica or any other number of names is doing their kid a disservice? Pardon my Nerdy ass for thinking of the Welsh goddess.

no offense to anyone who is named this, named their kid this, or knows anyone who is named Skylar, but it is one of the worst names I've ever heard.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" "It's Skylar, it will choose what it wants to be one day."

0/10 on the baby names scale.

I like Damian the least and Caroline the most but think it would sound better as Caroline Isabelle Eastling personally.

My wife and I laid out a number of names we liked for both boy and girl before we knew the sex also and in end ended up going with one of the top 5 boys names we had but changing the middle name a lot closer to the birth.

I just celebrated my sons first birthday this past weekend :)

Congratulations on your son's first birthday, do you mind sharing some of your top 5 names?
