When Hypertransport 1000Mhz comes out, will the FSB be 250 mhz? SO will AMD be using DDR500 ram? That'd be fun

ANd does anybody have benches on teh a64 2800??

Hypertransport 1000mhz comes out with socket 939

FSB will most likely be 250fsb or a higher multiplier with 200fsb

AMD is not likely going to support DDR500 in the near future (there have been rumors), but chipset companies like SIS may find a solution, hopefully... though it will be hard as the memory controller is in the cpu itself..

A64 2800+ benchies right here

There is no memory standard for anything higher then pc3200 atm so I seriously doubt any procs will be released soon at anything higher then 200 mhz fsb.

Samsung "unofficially" increased the standard to PC3700 last week.
