Newegg.ca has a great deal right now: each of these boards is on sale with a G.SKILL Ripjaws X 8GB DDR3 8GB (F3-12800CL10S-8GBXL), so I am thinking of pulling the pin on an upgrade.
AsRock z77 Pro 4 - $122.23
AsRock z77 Extreme4 - $139.99
BioStar tz77xe3 - $140.48
BioStar tz77xe4 - $153.23
Asus p8z77-v le - $167.23
*all prices include shipping
Is there really any reason to pick one board over the other from a quality/reliability and performance perspective?
I will be pairing this with an i5-3570K, likely no initial over-clock, but I will be over-clocking down the road, though nothing extreme. Also being paired with the remaining components in my signature.
I will primarily be using the machine for gaming and video transcoding.
I do not anticipate ever going with crossfire or sli.
