some A-hole hit my Maxima!!!

before I was going down to North Carolina with my family. and what bugs me is that this A$$Clown only had a few scratches on his front bumper. :|:|:|

i was in the right most lane, by myself, no traffic. all of a sudden, this clown wants to turn right on 20th street without looking for traffic. BOOM, he hits me between the driver and rear passenger doors, i almost do a 360 in the middle of 6th Ave. :|

and to top it off, when i told him me and my family was going to NC that night, he told me that it should be okay, and that it's not too bad. not bad? my whole rear door is off the frame and about to come off, and he says it is alright!!! :|

sorry, i had to get this off my chest. this is still bothering since last week. i can't stop thinking that my 2000 Max is now in the shop, and it will never drive the same way again.

i wonder if my insurance will go up, although this is not my fault?

Your insurance should not go up for a collision claim in which the other driver is found to be at fault (you did get a police report, right?).

Sometimes your insurance goes up even when you were found to be not at fault.

My insurance agent told me that some drivers seem to be "accident magnets" who have a lot of claims, none of them technically the driver's fault, so some companies will raise your rates somewhat every time there is an accident report. That sucks, sez I, but that's the insurance biz, I guess.

yeah, good thing i had my cell phone with me that day. i also got a witness to testify to the cops in my defense, so i'm hoping that my insurance company see's that it is my fault.
