Would someone be kind enough tp PM me a Win 98 SE Upgrade Product Code?

I purchased the upgrade about (2) years ago but can't find the original cd case with the code.

I'm re-installing my o.s. because of virus and I'm stuck.

Would be much appreciated.

You should be able to use your Win98 CD key with your upgrade CD. To find your key, go into regedit and search for:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

On the right column, look for "ProductKey" and write it down for future reference.
 
michec, thanks, that was a good suggestion but it does not work with my Win98 SE Upgrade cd.

I tried it with my Win 95 cd and could get the product code but not with the Win 98 upgrade version.


Anyone, who can help please do.
