I'm working on my friends computer and he has a few programs that I can't stop from starting up. They don't appear in MSCONFIG. The main one is a program called Oracle and it uses 95 megs of ram. There's also a program called Apache and I'm not sure what that is.

Question is basically, where do I remove these things. I thought there was a better place to remove startup programs but I forgot where it is.

If it's an nForce3 or nForce4 system, be careful about tampering with Apache. It's used to work with the nVidia firewall.

Nice program. Found out it was just that Oracle program... just from ending 5 services from them droped the processes down from 41 to 27 and droped the ram usuage to 127mb.
