Solved: When will we see wear 2.0 pushed to the watches?

I've seen several articles declaring that wear 2.0 is coming soon and speculating on the models to receive it based upon the preview models and the watches in the advertisement for it. Has there been confirmation on when it's supposed to hit the streets? I'm love to give it a try on my gen 2 moto 360 but no preview for this watch right now.

Well its February 27 and 3 weeks after wear 2.0 hit the streets. My phone updated its app version to 2 but no transfer to my 2nd gen moto 360 so I'm still waiting.

I've been reading on the Android sites "End of April or Late May" for AW2.0.

AW2.0 gets rid of one of my most used features: double-press the crown button to turn off the display and go into theater mode. I hope my 360v2 never gets it. If it forces the update, I'll sell it.

Have you noticed how the watch face makers have been having one sale after another trying to dump their wares on unsuspecting buyers? 2.0's complications allow us to arrange the watch face any way we wish so we don't need a 3rd party watch face to have those features. I, however will continue to use my runner watch face as its my most favorite and the only one I've actually purchased on the play store.

I went through a ton of junk faces before I found one I liked. I use two, "Skymaster" and "Scuba Diver". Skymaster has so much info, though: Battery levels for both devices, day/date, temp/weather and of course, time in analog.

According to this article wear is being pushed to the 2nd gen moto 360 starting on Sunday. I noticed that my battery levels dropped quickly yesterday and today I saw an android update available for installation on my watch. I am currently in the process of updating and this one is multiphased unlike previous OS updates with multiple restarts.

I just finished eating and the watch has finally updated to wear 2.0 and I see a welcome screen so now I will set it up.

Its been two weeks now running wear 2.0 and my battery life is the lowest that its ever been. I honestly don't think that it would make it 24 hours now on a single charge.

Yeowch. I hope this is a fluke and not broadly representative, because that doesn't exactly give Android Wear 2.0 a sterling recommendation. Even my first-gen Apple Watch can reliably make it through a long day.

My battery life on AW2.0 and a Moto360v2 is relatively unchanged. I can still go around 26-28 hours off the charger to get to around 10-15%.

The music controls irritate the piss outta me though, actually all the notification handling does.

I was just going to check the time and my watch had turned itself off after running low on juice. 15hrs on is just too low compared to the day and a half I could get out of 1.6. Now I really want to roll back to the old version and lock it down so it will never update again.
