I made a Macros in an xls file.... I don't want it now... how do I delete it? I need to give the file to my boss and he doesn't want that macros crap. I deleted the macro but that didn't help... ARG!

When you bring up Tools->Macro->Macros, can't you select them and delete them? Do they just keep coming back?

I deleted them that way... but that dumb ass box keeps popping up when the file is opened.... plus.... what the macro was doing is still there... I think i need to run something to get rid of the macro.... this is pretty urgent... don't want to lose my summer job over messing up an excel file.

I have saved the file after deleting the macro... it doesn't appear in the dialog box....

Now the new file still pops up that dumb enable macros.... on anyones machine.... including da boss.
There must be away to remove it.... from the file...

Score....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got it...... even though you delete the macro you still need to go into the vb editor and delete the empty module.... w000t!

Why not just copy all of the data, formulas, formatting from the macro file and put it in a fresh file with no macros?
