In order to add a new hard drive (old hard drive died) I had to get an ata133 pci card. When trying to install xp home, I hit F6 and get to add the drivers by typing "S" and inserting a floppy with drivers. Unfortunately, my CompUSA brand pci card came with drivers CD, not floppy.

I've tried downloading drivers, copying drivers from cd to floppy by using A:/and I keep getting the same error message "The File textsetup.oem cannot be found".

Any suggestions for PCI card I should buy next or otherwise workaround this problem?

The Promise TX2 cards I bought and that came bundled with a couple of WD drives all included drivers on floppy.

Are you sure you aren't doing something silly like viewing the CompUSA CD with folder view options set to hide system and hidden files? If so, you might be copying only part of the CD to diskette.

Do you know what chipset your ATA controller card uses? You can probably use generic drivers for it from the chipset manufacturer.
