[SOLVED]Problem mapping network drive on Windows 7 to Vista

I've got a shared Temp folder on my laptop (running Vista x64) and I'm trying to map a network drive to it from my desktop running Windows 7 x64. However, I keep getting a "Network not found" error everytime I try. I can ping the laptop from the desktop using the IP address and can ping the desktop from the laptop. I've got one admin account on both machines with the same username and password and I'm out of ideas why this won't work. There are shared folders on two other desktops running XP x86 and both the 64-bit machines (laptop and desktop) can access those folders through a mapped drive. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Edit : I've tried turning off the firewall on the laptop and then mapping with no success.

Solved. File sharing wasn't checked under the properties of the network connection. Oops!
