Hey, this problem happened about two or three nights ago when the power went off for a minute or two. I power cycled when I woke up and everything but my desktop was working perfectly. Here is my setup:
Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 takes the FIOS signal. It is connected (wired) to my desktop, my bro's desktop, Vonage, and Verizon's router. The three other devices are working perfectly and haven't had an issue.
The second Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 amplifies the wireless signal (wirelessly) and is connected (wired) to my Xbox 360. My brothers laptop is wireless. Both of these devices also work perfectly and have not had an issue.
I tried power cycling a few times. I tried using another ethernet cable. I've tried ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew (to no avail). Everything is fine in the Device Manager. I installed Win7 just recently (maybe 3 weeks ago) and Kaspersky's Antivirus is keeping me protected.
One thing I did notice on the last power cycle was that when I only had the Buffalo powered on, the light for the WAN was blinking (expected), but so was the light for my desktop's ethernet connection (on the Buffalo). I thought that the light for my desktop should be blank, just like the others, but I've never taken notice of this before.
Also, I can access the router from my desktop and I have a DNS Server (which is the address of the router).
Here is the ipconfig /all.
