Back in September I posted my problem:
Installed W2k and did not select any SCSI devices to be installed (since I have only IDE devices).
W2k would not allow my Sony CRX 145E (IDE) to burn. Would read correctly but not burn.
I reinstalled W2k on another partition and selected the F6 (install SCSI device) option and this allowed the Sony to burn.
The problem was HOW DO YOU INSTALL THE SCSI DRIVERS IN THE EXISTING SETUP THAT WAS ORIGINALLY INSTALLED WITHOUT THAT OPTION?
To this date, I could not install any drivers or fixes to make the system accept scsi drivers for that device.
SOLUTION: Copy the WINNT directory from the working installation onto the non working WINNT. (overwrite the files)
This worked, with minor problems of redirecting files that W2k does for you when you try to run them.
If anyone has another solution that does not involve reinstall, please post.
