I have a WD Mycloud running on a FIOS LAN. When I installed it, I had full access from my PC. After the infamous Windows update that disabled network browsing (?) I have not been able to recover completely.

I have the NAS set up on a static IP address, and I can access it through the web interface to administer.

I can see it in the "MyPC view in Windows 10, but I only seem to have read access to the drives even though share settings are all set to open Read/write .

- I have tried setting SIMBA to version 3 and Version 1.

Is there a general setup guide that I can use to perhaps start over and systematically clean this up?

Thanks

Looks like I solved it. I think that I tried pushing the NAS to SMB 3, which didnt help. I revisited the NAS settings, including read write and then reverted to SMBv1 and that seems to have done the trick. i was able to map my drives into the Computer view in Windows 10.

Now onto my Plex problems.
