What was the problem? Mine's been running beautifully for about a week now. Not a hint of problems, even under heavy 3d and dual monitor work.

This is your 5th thread on the Powercolor 9500, and hopefully the last! You should really bump your old posts instead of creating new ones all of the time. :)

Do a search on 9500 and you'll see what problems he had. :D

OOPS sorry about the empty up there hit the wrong button.

After trying every concievable solution to the problem ( PC shutting down and restarting after installing card) I decided enough was enough. I ripped that sucker out and plopped in my GF4MX440 and made a surprising discovery. The basic image quality of the GF4MX440 was NOTICEABLY BETTER than the Radeon9500PRO! I imagine that statement might ruffle some feathers but its the truth - sorry. However, as one might expect, games played better, faster and smoother on the 9500PRO. But it seems I just got a bad card, or my power supply is a wimp. I ordered a Antec TruePower 430 which should be here mon or tue, so Ill try again then to see if THAT was the problem, if not, then the card is bad and its RMA time....

Also, if you are RMA'ing the Powercolor, might as well be safe and order a "built by ATI" card.

If you have a card with problems and poor 2D quality, get rid of the card and buy one not made by Powercolour. Seems the sensible option to me.
