I simply uninstalled the drivers for my SBLive card. This instantly turned a machine that was intermittently crashing when watching TV and constantly crashing when recording/PVR to one that works perfectly. (I'm using the built-in sound on my mobo.)I tried this after seeing numerous posts in the Creative news groups complaining about the VIA/SBLive combo - especially under W2K.
If you have an AIW, SBLive, and a VIA chipset and are having problems give it a try.
