Hi all, not sure where to put this query, but as its to do with video output, I guess here will do...
My CEO is looking at new SB Laptop which while having great spec's has a little 1366*768 LCD panel. Now he would like to have docking station which will drive 2 x external 16*10 or 19*10 LCD's....
So Sony have said their docking station wont drive 2 x external only ext+laptop, so Im thinking Matrox, however as the laptop and docking station only have VGA\HDMI outputs, Im a bit stuck...The VGA version of DHTGo will only support 2 x 12x10 and their is no HDMI version...
The only thing I can suggest is a HDMI adapter to DVI and getting DVI version of DHTGo which supports up to 2 x 19x10....
So, question is does a HDMI to DVI adapter reproduce the same output as a DVI output, if that makes sense...
PC equipment is quite hard to get at present with earthquake hit firm buying out NZ stocks....The CEO is quite fussy with keyboard feel and LCD look etc, so not sure if we can get anything else, we only getting this because his mate a=is a manger at Sony.....

[Solved] - Apparently, Matrox has a VGA>2xDVI output supporting 2 x 19x12
