I am stumped and confused. My spouse's HP notebook can suddenly no longer find either of the two wireless access points in my house. What's even more strange is that it DOES show 4 unsecured computer-to-computer networks that are not anywhere within range of our house (like "Jet Blue hot spot").

I am no really that technically savvy but I know enough to have tried rebooting, repairing the wireless connection, and checking the wireless adapter advanced settings in device manager to make sure the driver is there and everything's enabled. I even tried a system restore to take things back a month. Nothing has worked and I don't have a clue why.

ANY IDEAS?

reinstall whatever wireless software it uses (HP, 3rd party, etc). That's all I got without being in front of it.
