I'm trying to setup a RAID-1 OS drive with a P8Z68-V LX. The documentation and marketing material says it "supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10".

In the BIOS, I set SATA MODE to RAID, but I see nowhere to configure an array. No other screen is available.

I've got 2 identical Seagate drives installed - I tried both 3Gb and 6Gb ports.

What is the trick here?

EDIT: Power saving feature on the old monitor was too slow responding to show me the RAID controller boot prior to the ASUS splash screen. Use CTRL-I

I found the root of the problem, I was using an old Samsung LCD that is slow to respond, and the BIOS boots past the RAID screen before the display turns on.

I switched monitors and now I see the message "CTRL-I for RAID config" and have been able to create the RAID-1 volume.

Gotta love power saving technology.
