SOLVED How do I get Photorec use a drive other than C: to recover to?

I am attempting to recover some files but it does not give me the option to save to a drive other than my boot disk. My C: drive has only 100GBs of storage available while my other drives have TBs of storage and the drive that I am recovering from is a 1.5TB drive so there is no way that my C: drive can contain all of it.

not qphotorec, it allows me to save to a different drive but fails to see the mac partition while photorec does see it but won't let me save to anywhere but the C: drive
I tried placing a shortcut on the C drive but it sees it as a link and won't save there
