Solved: Firefox getting flaky about auto-credential entry

Is ayone else running into this? Started a few versions ago. At first I thought it was just a site or two, then kept growing. Tried one of the sites in IE, remembered the credentials without issue.

And the even weirder part is that if I put in an incorrect credential, FF asks is I want to update credentials for that page. So it still knows what my saved credentials were for that page. But it either doesn't ask at all, or doesn't start offering to enter the id until the password field (as one example).

This was actually not a "problem" with Firefox, but a change that I just had to adjust to. The auto-entry password does not appear until I got to the password field. Once I get to that field, it shows the username(s) I have saved for that page, then inserts the password once the appropriate user name is selected. Not sure why they made the change, but the function does still work.
