A friend is over with her laptop. She can't install software because she doesn't have admin rights and she doesn't know what she did to cause it.
When XP starts, there is a log on screen but just hitting ok/log on without entering a password allows you into the laptop. But you can't install software.
Any way to remove the log in requirement and grant her access to her own machine?
<sheepish grin>
I took out her log in name, typed in Administrator and hit OK. It logged in as Admin. :shocked:
