Solved - Acer Aspire X3600 Cable TV signal

I have an Acer Aspire X3600 PC. I want to connect my cable TV wire to it so that I can watch TV prog's on it. Can someone please tell me where I need to insert the cable tv signal wire into. There are these slots/jacks available on the back side of the PC case :

1. TV
2. FM
3. AV-IN

If someone could guide me on this issue it would be great. Thanks!

If you purchased the computer with the optional TV tuner, then you'll have a coaxial Cable/Antenna plug (the one labeled TV) on the back of the computer. Connect your cable box (or wall jack) to that port and use the Acer TV application to watch cable TV programs.

If you did not purchase the optional tuner card with the computer, you'll need to get a TV tuner card, install it in the computer, then connect your cable line to the card.

Yes, the PC came with a TV Tuner card already inside. According to your steps I have inserted the cable wire into the port marked TV. The thing is I can't find the Acer TV application thing. I have a windows media center, is that the one?

I got it working...here's what I did:

Just used the Windows Media Center and clicked on TV Setup. The setup scanned my channels from the cable signal (it tooks about 15 min's) and then I was able to watch TV on my PC. Cheers! :beer:
