Solved 4/13 - For those plagued by the whine in the video it may be caused by your power supply!!! I installed my new Seasonic X750 today and the whine under load issue is GONE.

Cool Glade to hear it! Now go have fun!!

Bumping this because I have a Radeon HD 5850 that did the same thing. Whenever any game (Crysis, StarCraft II, Medal of Honor) loaded, it would suddenly begin this high-pitch whine. I figured that was just the graphics card under load, but after reading this and doing research on my PSU (Thermaltake TR2 TRX-750M, same as the OP), it appears that the PSU is completely to blame! Looks like it's time to invest in a SeaSonic X760.

So wait, the noise is coming from the GPU but changing out the PSU makes the noise go away?

I wonder what the PSU has to do with the whine? Bad voltage regulation? Ripple? Not enough amps?

I would like to know, too. I am looking at purchasing a new card, but am wondering if my PC Power and Cooling 750W is up to the task.
