sec (x) = ± sqrt(2)
1/cos(x) = ± sqrt(2)
cos(x) = ± 1/sqrt(2)

x = -45°, 45°, 135°, 225°

take square root of both sides

sec(x) = 1/cos(x) = sqrt(2)

you should be able to figure out the rest from there.
