Solution to Napster debacle

I have a solution. Someone should start an agency that would accept payments from individuals and forward them to the correct artist. That way you could download the songs, and if you like the song and your morals necessitate doing something, you could send an amount of money to that artist without worrying about how much is actually getting to them. This would solve all problems; The artist would get the money, they would get more exposure (As we all know napster does facilitate this.), and best of all the RAII would get screwed. No losers

Heh, heh, should napster be willing to finance this venture, I would be more then willing to star the agency.

Well then what about all the low quality songs that many Napster users carry around with them. I don't know how many times I've had to download the same song a zillion times trying to find one that was near perfect quality. Who would want to pay for a song that has skips or is muted?
