Me and my friends rented two flat together. Which is next to each other ( next to as in attahced together. Not opposite each other. Our bacanly are stick togther and seperate by a think wire metal )
The problem is. We need ONE broadband. In so we also need ONE and only ONE telephone line.
According to our testing the best setting would be to put the 802.11g Wirless router in the edge Flat B to share to both flat.
However we want the telephone line to be in Flat A. And we can not put the router at the edge of Flat A for some personel reason.
OR to another fact, mainly the Flat A people want to use the telephone. ( If there is a way to have the modem OR telephone phone line in Flat B but the Flat A people could still use the phone..........)
MY current soloution is to have the phoneline installed in Flat A. And a phoneline going out the window of Flat A into the modem situated in Flat B and connect it to the router....
However i am thinking would we squash the telephone line too much and decrease the speed of the internet.
This sounds like a IQ questions but it is the problem which i am having.... could anybody figure out what could i do??
( BTW i thought of having a wireless repeater as well.... but to my reaearch they cost more than 50 pounds.......... )
Thx in advance
