This isn't a call for help, rather a solution to the problem I've been fighting for a few hours.
I'd been trying to get some TekRam P6B4-A4X motherboards working with a Celeron 466 chip/slotket. The board is a BX, I'm using PC100 ram, and the voltages and multiplier/clock are set perfect, but still each on time on POST, all I'd get is:
"-MMX 98MHZ" and the machine was locked. I never did find the solution on TekRam's website or in the manual, but I did find it at EFA after a search on the web - turns out that the BIOS was telling me that the board couldn't recognize either that processor(or the P2-350 and P3-450's that I'd tried!) The solution was to plug in an older processor(I used a P2-266) and then flash the BIOS to something more current!
Well that worked, and I'm now cheerfully using a pair of motherboards that were previously useless to me. 🙂
