The board under review is another member of the "Black Thunder" series from Soltek, the SL-K8AV-R. This board comes equipped with the VIA K8T800 chipset and support for 754pin Athlon64 processors.

I can`t believe it has no onboard LAN .

that's definitely a booboo by Soltek if you ask me... but I love Soltek and I bet this thing will still sell

I agree,especially the first part ,but knowing Soltek they`ll probably bring out a couple of versions like they did with the KT600,since the KT600 models are available with and without onboard LAN.

I been buying Soltek boards since KT133a, I wrote a Email to Soltek asking if they will have a board with the SIS 755 chipset for the A64, they say maybe....
