Now with all that said why would anyone be interested in the Soltek motherboard that lacked these adjustments. Well first of all the sheer value of this motherboard is just great. Look at the ABIT or Asus version of this board and the price is upwards of $175 while this board can be purchase for only $95. You?ll get all the latest features and great stock performance along with some mild overclocking performance for only $95. It just can?t be beat

No LAN, uses the OLD 8235 southbridge, and uses a cheap AC97 sound chip.
Why spend $200+ on a CPU then match it up to some POS CHEAP board?

For less then $130 get the K8X800 Pro board.

I agree but prefer the AOpen AK86-L board ;),btw their other VIA K8T800 model ( Soltek SL-K8AV2-RL ) has LAN.

I`m disappointed with Soltek this time round.

Disappointed is an understatement for myself. Their nF2 series of boards are outstanding and overclock very well, particulalrly considering they were among the least expensive available for quite some time. The last few P4 and A64 reviews I've seen on their boards have been terrible from an enthusiast's perspective, and they appear to be targeting OEM's in an effort to make some real bank. I don't blame them for it, but I do think they are making a huge mistake by not also offering a flagship product targeted at the enthusiast with all the overclocking goodies I'd come to expect from them.
