soltek sl-k8an2e-gr

hey all,

i just got the soltek sl-k8an2e-gr (recommended by anandtech) and installed it in my system w/ an athlon 64 3000+. however when i boot i get an error message saying 'bios not installed'. i took care of this by reading other forums and disabling the promise boot. however, my cmp still restarts when it tries to load xp. safe mode wont even work...... any ideas would be great.

First of all, I'd clear the Cmos. Swith the jumpers if you have to.

all the jumpers and even the battery.

Sounds like a memory or power supply issue. What brands and speed are you using?
