I think i've got my heart set on the Soltek SL-75DRV2 now instead of the EpoX 8kha+. I'll be running a XP 1900+ w/Mushkin 512 mb pc2100 ddr. Anybody have any problems with the soltek? Does it just really kick ass? Thanks for feedback!

Both are decent although if I had to buy one now I
would get the soltek.
The 2nd IDE channel on my 8kha+ is still DMA and not UDMA
(my CDRW and DVD drives are UDMA rated). Also I had
strange HD hanging issues while trying to install Win2k.
Oc'ing wasn;t that great as well since I'm stuck at 137fsb
with a XP1500+, but I haven't changed to a better CPU cooler.

My friend just got a Soltek recently and got everything installed
right the first time after I told him to try out the Soltek. He hasn't
got a single problem.

Im stuck exactly where you are Norco....

I have both the Soltek and 8kha+ coming to my door from newegg (refurbs) , and if they both work im just going to test and see which one I can overclock more with, but soltek has an advantage because its purple, and you dont see many purple hardware components.
