I wanted to try to put together a half decent system on the cheep. I read that Soltek's SL-NV400-L64 was a good, single channel nFORCE2 board. I wanted to pair it up with a 2500+ barton and OC it to 11x200 with an INFINEON 512MB PC3200 DIMM. I was looking for someone's experience with the above mentioned hardware. Also I will need a quite HSF if someone could recommend one.

Thanks, olias :)

Get the shuttle one from New egg it's only 61, supports up to 400FSB, i havn't hooked mine up yet tho, need to get my 9600xt first, so i can't tell you how it works, but my bro has been on a shuttle board with his xp 2000+ maybe is 1500+. for like 2 years, no problems either.

Don't know what you've decided. I have the mobo, and it oc's easily to those speeds. A nice, cheap board.
