Is the Bios information correct regarding temperatures/voltages?

I'm getting a discrepancy between the bios and soltek's HM/SiSoft. Which is more correct?

And is the CPU temp actually a probe on the MB so the CPU core temp is actually higher?

this is an issue with the Soltek mobo they are in testing stage of a new bios to fix it. I have the same issue it was saying ambient was 19c and cpu die was 60c at idle with a zalman cnps7700-cu. My sandra says 23c but i have read that the sandra temps are also unreliable so I've moved my mobo back to stock settings and I'm waiting for the bios update to overclock. this thing screams when it oc'd though i had it at 2.6ghz stable prime95 overnight but didnt go any higher because I want a more accurate reading.

Is this problem due to the BIOS, HW monitor or the A64 cpu thermal diode not reporting correctly?

After installing CoolnQuiet, the Bios and Solteks HWM still reported CPU core temp of 50C. AFAIK the core temp should be reduced significantly since CnQ reduced the speed to 1Ghz/1.1v. Ambient is around 22-25C which was about right. Sandra's temps were 27C ambient and 23C CPU (idle).

The heatsink fins (Zal 7000BAlcu) is mostly cool to the touch, much colder than the normal heatsink on my previous AXP system. I applied AS5 correctly so I don't think its a heat transfer problem but it troubling me a little.
