This is a new build being assembled on a large cardbord sheet. It is a Soltek SL-K8AN2E-GR, Socket 754, w/Retail AMD64/3200+, Corsiar CMX256A-3200C2(PC3200) x 2 DDR, Retail WD80 Gig HD, floppy; ATI 9600XT 128/AGP; Tagan 480-U01 Power Supply, and "Me"
I have recheck the CPU socket insert, to make sure it is inserted correctly, removed the memory, tried different video cards, and the Tagan 480 is so quiet, that if it was not for everything powering up, I would think that it was not on.
The board ligths up with a power indicator, the "CPU fans come on, but that is the end of the story. Nothing out to the monitor, no indications from the keyboard. It just sit there and run, at least the cpu fan runs. There is no audiable beeps for nothing I do. Building this should be rather forward ? ? ?

I am all ears !!!

Thanks -hap

We have "Lift Off" - I did not plug in the ATX 12v power plug (that will do it everytime) - the "Me" factor :)

Thanks again, and will keep you posted
