I've had this mobo for about a week, and have a cold boot issue about 50% of the time. What happens is from a cold boot, it hangs after detecting the IDE0 and IDE1 devices, but before the SATA devices are detected. A simple ctrl-alt-del reboots the machine, and then it detects all drives fine and goes right into Windows. I e-mailed Soltek on this issue, and they said either my IDE cables were bad, installed incorrectly, or power supply was bad. Cables are fine, and power supply rails are OK (Thermaltake 420W). I have the latest bios. Once into Windows, the machine runs flawlessly, no instability issues at all in games or benches.

I know its a relatively minor issue, but any ideas? I bought from Newegg, so RMA would be easy if its a mobo hardware issue.

My rig:

1 gig (2x512mb) SimpleTech Nitro PC3500
160 gb Maxtor SATA (boot)
200 bg WD SATA (storage)
128mb Powercolor Radeon 9800Pro
NEC 2510A DVD RW

Lite On 16x DVD
