I want to get a SSD for my laptop. But I don't want to spend the money on the Intel drive. Is their a SSD drive similar to Intel's in terms of performance under $200?

Unfortunately, the 60GB Agility is the only drive in that price range worth considering. If you are willing to go Ebay, you can get the intel 80GB for a little over $200 with Bing 8% CB. Or you can up your budget by $50 and go with what looks like another repackaged X25-M 80GB from A-Data through Newegg.

Looks like it just came out, no reviews yet. If it's like the Kingston repackaged drives, it's just a X25-M 80GB with the A-Data sticker on it. From the pictures, it even has an Intel Inside sticker on it.

is the intel x18-m a G2? microcenter has one available in a migration kit with migration software and 2.5" adapter for $200.

edit: fatwalleters reporting G1

G2 are not out for x18-m. they also run at a lower voltage iirc with usata connector 3.3v instead of the 2.5" 5V. i had an engineering sample 160gb it was dope fast with trim firmware.
