Solicitor's keep calling my cell from Canadian numbers

This just started in the last week. I have googled a few of the numbers and people have just started reported them in the last 45 days. They are all coming from Canada and when you call them back they are always busy. The only thing I have put my cell number on lately is Grandcentral and I just re-registered my number with the donotcall site. Has anyone else been getting calls the last few days.

Do Not Call lists only work usually for vendors in the US. There have been lots of scams in the history of phones to get people to call back what seems like a domestic number only to be hit with a $9/min charge.

These unregulated charges can usually be disputed the first time.

Just found out my best friend as a prank put my number on one of those stupid macy's card offers........I am so irritated right now and hes thinks it funny.
