The best part is Ryan's budget preserved those same damn "cuts" they keep ranting about.

It's not going to work, it's just not believable. Romney has no credibility to make the argument, which is really what you need in a debate where both sides are telling half-truths. Vice POTUS' simply don't have much sway as is in any case, though perhaps Ryan will rise quickly in the ranks since he appears to carry some conservative-exclusive star dust.

It's going to be status quo until the debates with both sides flat out lying at pace not to be believed in order to eke out a couple more points in the polls.

Democrats: Romney murdered a steelworker's wife when he offshored jobs. (Even though she had health insurance from her job and Romney wasn't running Bain at the time)

Republicans: Obama cut medicare depriving the elderly of money they paid into the system and Romney will restore that money. (Except it's actually a savings since providers decided to accept lower rates over 10 years as a result of ACA enactment).

Democrats: We have a jobs plan. (We don't just know what it is yet...or maybe even after yet)

Republicans: We have a budget plan. (It involves eliminating that damn NPR and taking lots of LSD so the numbers make sense)

etc....

Romney was getting paid by Bain at the time, wasn't he? He still is, and they're following the business model he developed.

She had healthcare insurance? What do we know about that as it compares to a union steelworker's healthcare package?

There a lots of really shitty healthcare plans out there, with extremely high copays and very low benefit limits. If hers was one of those, it wouldn't have done squat wrt cancer.

Here's the ad-

Mitt Romney doesn't understand... nor does he give a flying fuck, either... His proteges at Bain are following in his footsteps, still paying him for the structure & guidance he provided.

Claiming otherwise is willful ignorance at best.

She is just creaming these moronic Republicans on Medicare and their new pathetic "OBAMA ROBBED MEDICARE" attack. Man it is sad to see how normal human beings can just get in front of the American public and lie their asses off.

Republicans have gone beyond shameful. This is treasonous to the country in my opinion.

She ripped him a new one

Obama saving $716 billion bad

Romney spending $716 billion good

Unreal

It's still a major reach. Without anything to support the implication I don't give it much credence.

As far as Romney's activities at Bain I wouldn't say he did differently than a lot of private equity guys would have. Not that I'm claiming that's a good thing. Had he been calling the shots I don't have any trouble thinking he would have made the same decision. There is enough fact left over from the last couple decades to, properly leveraged, destroy Romney's credibility several times over. The Democrats don't have to invent new stuff to this end.

I entirely expect the race to remain within a few points until the debates. Given Obama's likeables and Romeny's gaffe prone nature/position reversals I think we'll see a Romney super implosion that will take the last of the independent voters with it right into the Obama camp.

There's a name for that- Lootocracy.

The rest? Just the Romney campaign & the Media puttin' lipstick on a pig, trying to make her seem appealing, trying to convince the electorate that they might want to take her home tonight. Uh-huh. You bet. That, and swing voters playing their usual coy attention whore selves.

I love the ad:

"Obama took 716 Gazillion dollars from Medicare (a massive gov't health program) to fund a massive gov't health program."

LOL

"Romney promises to take that same money from Medicare to give himself a tax cut. Romney 2012."

What a mess. Sanunununununuuuunu was a disaster. Nobody can explain the R/R position, and they think its 2004 again when you can just repeat the same line over and over again until it becomes true.
"Obama stole Eleventy Bajillion dollars to give to mexicans!!"

Wow, that interview was so uncomfortable. It was like an old white man trying to sell racism to a young black woman or something.

I wonder how long it will take for the right to come back down to earth where the rest of us are dwelling, because they have lost their damned minds.
