Solder it or just twist and tape it?

So I have this little 40mm fan. It has 2 lead wires coming off of it. The fan I am replacing has the nice little attachment that plugs onto the board of my guitar amp. So I will cut that end off and attach it to my new fan.

The big question is.....is it worth my time and hassle to solder it or should I just twist em and tape em? I don't have a soldering gun but we have them at work I could try to use.

edit:
#2a: I assume that the fan should blow air across the circuit board not "suck" it across right?
#2b: how do I know which way is the "blow" way without plugging onto my circuit board and turning my amp on? I really don't want to turn on the amp with the board open like that and get zapped

twist and tape should work fine. this isn't something too critical imho.
just make sure you twist many times

The old fan should probably have some indication on it of which way it originally blew. Check for an arrow on the edge of the housing. If that fails, most fans blow air out the same side as the sticker on the motor, and pull in on the same side as the blade assembly. Just put the new one in the same way the old one was.

I would just use wire nuts. Easy on, and easy off if you ever want to swap it out again.
