Sold some books on Half.com, what to ship them in?

Some are way too small for a normal box.... What do people usually ship small books in?

excellent question. I've just sold my first set of books thru amazon.com. Go to wal-mart and get the 5 yellow bubble envelopes for $3.49 deal they have going on. they have lines to write the return address as well as the shipping address on them. take the books in the envelopes down to your local post office and ship em via media mail. it'll cost maybe $3 in shipping.

Go to USPS get the small Priority mail box for free. Of course you cant use those boxes for media mail unless you cover up the priority labels.

I get the padded envelopes dirt cheap at samsclub but they are reasonable at walmart as well. 6x9's work well for small paperbacks I use 6x9's for dvds and PS2/Gamecube/Xbox Games. 8x10's for most other books. The really big books I go with boxes.

FTW!!! Or regular envelopes, but wrap the books in a few sheets of notebook paper, then newspaper. (my wife shipped some wrapped in newspaper and the buyer complained about newspaper ink on the book)

Walgreens has padded envelopes for 33c each this week. If that doesn't work, then you can wrap up your books in a brown grocery bag for shipment.

USPS has now printed priority mail all over the inner boxes.

priority mail supplies are valid for Priority Mail use only. any other use is illegal.

Just tape the address label to the front of the book, no box required.

You're crazy to do that without at LEAST putting a rubber band around the book to keep the pages together.

😛
