Sold my first item on eBay last night at about 7 P.M. PST. It was a roll of silver Washington Quarters, guy used Buy It Now for $50 about an hour after I posted the auction. I sent him an invoice but he still hasn't paid with Pay Pal or sent an email that he was going to send a money order/check. How long does it usually take people to pay? I usually pay for my eBay stuff within a few hours after auction close.

stop whining he'll pay when he pays... you sound like that buyer who bought a phone from me and emailed me 3 times within a day saying the UPS tracking number I gave him didn't work... it was the right number it just hadn't propogated through the ups system.

Usually I use the "immediate payment required" option for buy it now. You should have done that if you want your money quickly.

Hey, I don't really care. I don't need the money NOW, I was just wondering what the typical payment time is, that's all. Sheesh.

Yep. Spot price right now is about $7.13 an ounce. There are about 7.2 ounces of silver in a roll of silver quarters, so the guy actually got kind of a bargain (not including S&H). Silver is definately on the rise these past weeks.
