My new car arrived yesterday, haven't had much time to drive it yet but I love it. Huge change in power and a much more refined car in general.

so shiny, and props on the 7MT, someone's gotta keep MT's as an option in these cars until I can afford one 😀

Thanks for the kind words guys

Awesome upgrade! Love the new ride, you should post some better pics too 😉

haha i'll try this weekend, I normally take the train to work or DD the really old camry you see in the first pic so its just sitting in the garage at my condo

I'd hate it too if I used to own a 996 which is by far the worst and ugliest 911, but your new S8 looks sick 😛

Pffft. 69 way seats are the new hotness.

Congrats on a superb drive. When's the first track day scheduled?

soon? I'm thinking Laguna Seca in early dec, but need to get more comfortable with the car first. The boxster fit me like a glove and honestly speaking the 911 feels big inside and I can't yet just feel where the corners of the car are

Awesome! How's driving the 7 speed? I have a feeling I'd forget to put it into 7th at times.

The first 6 speeds are regular close ratio and then the 7th is a really tall overdrive, at 80 its like 2,200 RPM? There is a lockout so you can't shift into 7th unless you're already in 5th or 6th and its a dogleg to the right with a lot of resistance so actually I have trouble getting into 7th.
