Yeah, I've done a couple of successfull installs. Pretty much like solaris for sparc. Solaris 8 comes with most standard linux stuff, and you can download ready-to-run packages from www.sunfreeware.com. Makes for a good server. Personally, I wouldn't use it for a desktop...
